Summary: Provide administrative, financial, and accounting support to Finance Department and corporate operations by completing the assigned tasks, projects, and duties as assigned by Director of Finance or the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Essentials Functions: Responsible for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a periodic payroll, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees. Collect and summarize timekeeping information Obtain supervisory approval of time card discrepancies Obtain overtime approvals; calculate commissions Process garnishment requests; Process employee advances and paybacks Process and close periodic payrolls Print and issue paychecks Process direct deposit payments; Process paycard payments Calculate and deposit payroll taxes Reconcile hours to payroll; coordinate with branch managers on timesheet discrepancies Maintain "change of status" in all corporate systems for payroll changes Coordinate with Department heads prior to payroll submission - timely review of PTO and timesheets Responsible for creating invoices and credit memos, issuing them to customers, by all necessary means, and updating customer files. Issue monthly customer statements Generate invoice in Quick Books Update customer files with issued invoices Process credit memos Update the customer master file with contact information Manage receivables- Coordinate with Department/Company to review Aging report (collections). Coordinate with A/P clerk on contract receipts Responsible for all employee pay issues and concerns. Responsible for all customer invoice issues and concerns Other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications: Ability to effectively multi-task and manage conflicting priorities without impacting deadlines and meeting required deliverables. The ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Education/Experience: 3 plus years of payroll and general accounting experience. Must be detail oriented.
