Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY Dominos Pizza Team Members are an all-inclusive, fun, energetic and friendly group of people. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk processes revenue, cash/banking information, and accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, administers customer orders, reconciles accounts receivable and payable control accounts, and generates payments to vendors and payees. This position also makes recommendations for process improvements in accounts receivable and payable.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Accounts Receivable:Processes accounts receivable and revenue collection functions, including preparing, printing and posting invoices, following up on outstanding invoices and administering collection calls to customersAdministers point-of-sale (POS) system, resolving any associated problemsPlace customer orders, work with customers on pricing and place orders with storePerforms transaction processing related to accounts receivable payments, revenue collection and bank deposits; use of electronic scannerProcess credit card chargesRecord PaymentsPrepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Accounts Payable:Manage outgoing bills and invoices on behalf of the companyPrint, sort and distribute daily emailed invoicesReview vendor statements and aging reportsContact vendors regarding past due invoicesEnsure that all payments are made in accordance with company policyResearch and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes provided by our CPA firmPrint out of cycle AP checksAdd new stores to accounts when they open including utilities, alarms, Cintas, and pest controlCode AMEX billMaintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.Verifies Weekly Deposit from storesCommunicates with stores and Management teams to resolve issuesManages permits for food establishments and alarmsResearches Alarm Notices and ensures fine payments are madeReviews weekly paperwork from storesPerforms special projects such as GL research and analysisConducts a weekly AP invoice review, approves routine invoices with no discrepancies, calls attention to unusual charges, and takes initiative to resolve them.Ensures completeness and accuracy of all accounts receivable and accounts payable databases and files, including monthly, periodic and annual reconciliation of control accountsMakes recommendations for continual process improvements and ensures that procedures are documentedEnsures accurate processing to accounts in compliance with appropriate policies and procedures, with correct application of taxesResponds to inquiries from external and internal customersPerforms other related duties as requiredMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSExperience working in a general bookkeeping or accounting position specifically in the areas of accounts payable and accounts receivableExperience working with large volume of transactions and in complex systems, requiring a high degree of speed, accuracy and attention to detailUnderstanding of the principles of accounts receivable processes and systems, POS systems, cash, taxation and account collectionUnderstanding of the principles of accounts payable processes, systems and taxationProficient in various software applications such as MS Office and accounting programs; excellent excel and wordStandard office equipment such as multi-function printer and computer.High standards of excellence.Ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to adapt, troubleshoot, research solutions and make recommendations to improve work efficiencyAble to gain thorough knowledge of all relevant Dominos and Team Murph policies and standards.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIESTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.
