The Manager, Compliance and Performance : Logistics is accountable for setting the strategic direction for building compliance assurance capability in the Logistics businesses consistent with Tesoros Operations Excellence Management System (OEMS) Element 15 : Compliance Assurance. In addition, this role is accountable for managing and improving the Logistics EH and S processes to assure accurate trending, analysis and reporting for EH and S performance metrics.
This role will be accountable for executing the assurance related activities involving the Corporate EHS and S assurance program. The Manager, Compliance and Performance : Logistics will serve as the liaison between key groups to ensure the effective execution of the Assurance schedule, resources, audit plan and findings to reduce business risk. In addition, this role will be accountable for establishing processes and tools for the effective management of key compliance systems and for developing a process for holistically analyzing audit findings performed by the EH and S Logistics team and other functions.
The Manager, Compliance and Performance : Logistics leads a team of analysts and plays a key leadership role in driving consistent EH and S performance capability across the Logistics businesses, as well providing tracking, analysis, and reporting on the budget performance of the Logistics EH and S team.
Compliance Strategy and Capability
: Defines the strategic direction for building EH and S compliance capability across the logistics business by obtaining alignment on key goals, programs, processes, and resources to execute strategy to reduce compliance risk.
: Plays key leadership role in interfacing with the Corporate EHS and S team for all assurance related activities. Responsibilities include coordinating with the EH and S logistics businesses regarding audit plans, resources, audit findings and follow:up to address gaps.
: Responsible for defining and implementing a process for holistically analyzing and imbedding learnings from EH and S audit findings. Accountable for executing management reviews with senior leaders regarding audit findings and corrective actions.
: Responsible for developing and maintaining a compliance dashboard to track compliance related activities and for providing regular updates to the leadership team.
: Responsible for oversight , management, and coordination of the key compliance systems (e.g. Compliance Task Manager, IMPACT) and ensuring consistency with the Corporate EHS and S department for maintaining and updating systems. Role will be responsible for implementing KPIs to assess the health of the compliance systems. .
Performance Management Strategy and Capability
: Accountable for setting a strategy for managing and improving our processes to assure accurate EH and S performance trending, analysis and reporting.
: Collaborates with the Corporate EHS and S team to continuously improve reporting systems for analyzing, trending and reporting EH and S performance.
: Responsible for overseeing, streamlining and executing the EH and S performance reporting : weekly, monthly, quarterly updates and communications to senior leaders.
: Responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the overall budget performance of the Logistics EH and S team, including tracking and analyzing changes in resource needs and operational costs due to continued growth of Logistics assets.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
: Minimum undergraduate degree required.
: Ten years of experience in manufacturing, pipeline, petroleum, or consulting industries focusing on the area of regulatory compliance, performance management, and/or operations.
: Previous supervisory experience preferred.
: Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
: Ability to manage and lead a professional
