Oversees the Control Center Shift Leads in the safe and reliable operations within the Pipeline Control Center. The Shift Lead Supervisor ensures safe and efficient pipeline operations in accordance with DOT regulatory and company requirements. The Shift Lead Supervisor is directly accountable for ensuring that the Pipeline Control Center meets or exceeds our customers requirements while following our developed tenets of operations.


: Supervises the Control Center Shift Leads in day to day operations in a safe, environmentally sound and reliable manner.
: Ensures that the Control Center adheres to the Control Room Management Plan while providing a safe and efficient operation that meets DOT regulatory and Company requirements.
: Functions as the Alarm Management Manager and ensures that the Alarm Management Plan is followed and meets PHMSA DOT requirements. Ensures that all Alarm Rationalization is completed and Controller Alarm response is documented.
: Serves as the Leak Detection subject matter expert (SME) within the Control Center Leadership Team.
: Owns the Control Center Operations Excellence Management System (OEMS) handbook and functions as the team OEMS subject matter expert (SME). Drives the Control Center team to identify and implement improvements to operations. Identifies and develops operational tools within the Control Room.
: Assists in the development and implementation of operational procedures when needed.
: Ensures emergency policies and procedures regarding operations in the control center are followed.
: Assist the Control Center Manager in all Control Room Management requirements as mandated by regulatory or Company responsibilities.
: Assist the Control Center Manager in regulatory or company audits and ensure compliance to all rules and regulations.
: Ensures that all DOT regulations, company compliance, emergency response, and developed procedures are followed.
: Conducts performance reviews with the Control Center Shift Leads.
: Works with the SCADA Supervisor to ensure all operational SCADA data meets operational needs.

: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
: Minimum of 10 years previous pipeline Controller/dispatching experience OR equivalent Operations Control Center experience preferred.
: Previous experience as a Lead/Supervisor within a Pipeline Control Center or similar operations preferred.

: Ability to react and make decisions in an emergency situation.
: Proficiency in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite. A working knowledge and understanding of the other Control Center functions such as Damage Prevention, Scheduling and SCADA systems is critical to the role.
: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem:solving skills.
: Understands internal and external customer needs and strives to exceed their expectations.
