The Senior Financial Analyst is in charge of project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting, serving as the primary point of contact for all financial issues. You will also perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments. This Senior Financial Analyst will be situated in San Antonio, Texas. Your responsibilities in this role - Execute improved management reporting by working with Operations and Accounting to more accurately track financial results - Be able to analyze financial results, distill and synthesize key issues, communicate updates to senior management all in order to drive existing management reporting - Handle ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests - Assess and execute financial analysis in order to optimize business performance - Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating critical updates to senior leadership - Collaborate with Functional leads to execute management reporting, accounting and compliance advisement, and coordinate alignment of operational initiatives- Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred - Strong proficiency in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended - Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions - Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint - Skills in critical thinking and the ability to operate effectively with management - Operations finance experience should include 5+ years - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Required education: BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or a related field - Budget forecasting experience - Financial modeling experience required - High degree of proficiency in Microsoft ExcelOur industry-leading alliances and broad client network provide you greater access to a variety of unique interim and long-term project opportunities that can keep you continuously engaged.
