Im seeking a talented, flexible and dependable person as my Assistant. The position is currently administrative, but there is substantial business learning in our day to day activities, and the right individual can easily grow into a support role in one or more of our business areas. We generate more work than I can handle, so there is plenty of upside once you learn the business.
I am nominally a business consultant, but my entrepreneurial background (in manufacturing, distribution and health care) leads me into a variety of activities. They include:

Peer Boards and CEO Coaching. I was the most successful practitioner of the Alternative Board(r) in that organizations history. I let my franchise expire in 2016, but still work with 25+ CEOs personally. While mostly focused on leadership and management issues, we deal with literally every issue that occurs in a mid:market company. Most clients are between 10 and 100 million revenue.

MPN Incorporated. Our core consulting entity develops exit strategies for mid:market businesses, mostly in South Texas but with some clients elsewhere in the US. This work involves considerable coaching, along with extensive tax and legal structuring. My assistant, who has been with me for ten years (not all in that role), wants to chase her career passion. It is something Ive supported, and encouraged. She has given us lots of notice, and well need every bit of that to spin someone up.
I have a need for an administrative person who wants to spend every day with a firehose of transactions, legal documents, financial analysis, incentive plan development, HR issues, sales, marketing and leadership. Something between an assistant and an apprentice. He or she will have the opportunity to learn more about business in a year than in 5 years of normal experience, but will have to be quick to keep up. If there is interest and ability, the reward will be more knowledge and more opportunity. I would be only too happy to have someone additional providing professional services, and will mentor with that as an objective.
This is some of what you would provide in our office daily

Confidentiality. Virtually everything we touch is sensitive to disclosure. You will see and hear lots of things that would make great stories at home, cocktail conversation or even be newsworthy. It all stays at the office at the end of the day.

Communication. Outstandingly pleasant and professional phone demeanor, good enough to make acting as primary contact with CEOs and their assistants not only acceptable to them, but enjoyable. Gatekeeping for solicitations.

Quality. As business consultants, clients expect our work to be a level above their own. We double and triple check everything before it goes out.

Scheduling. My calendar is a moving target, with at least 60 appointments each month, almost all with CEOs. Includes communicating via clients preferred method (email, text, phone) and prior day confirmation. Concentrating appointments by geography, and knowing travel times. Timely reminders to me of upcoming meetings. Coordinate meetings between 3, 4, 5 or more executives and professionals.
