This position is for our telecommunications client located in San Antonio, TX. This is a 5 month contract with a pay of $14.00/hour. This position is for a telecommunications client in San Antonio, TX. This is a 5 month contract position. The candidate must be able to work training AND shift hours. Essential Functions: *Ensure that customers receive the best service possible through processing orders, preparing general correspondence and coordinating with other functions as required. *Quality checks all Core order types in for accuracy and policy adherence and accurately enters these orders into the billing system *Cross reference all Commercial Service Agreements with database and ensure Sales Order accuracy and adherence to regional and corporate policies and procedures *Adhere to productivity standards to ensure all orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner *If required receive inbound calls for scheduling and make outbound calls to all customers for scheduling and make reminder calls to customers for the installation appointment as needed *Applies appropriate stages, statuses, and comments to all Service Requests/Opportunities -throughout the life of the order-when applicable *Prioritizes work in accordance with intervals and/or Customer Requested Due Date *Ensures performance meets operational metrics and contractual obligations (eg, SLA delivery). *When a non-routine issue arises, chooses from clear cut courses of action for next steps or escalates. *Coordinates escalations with Leads, Provisioning, Service Delivery, Construction, Operations, Project Management, and other related groups as required in the activation of services and/or installation of equipment. *Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of all Business products and pricing models in a growing innovative product mix environment. *Proficient in setting up appropriate charges for commercial accounts and discounts for long-term service agreements. *Accurately completes additional duties as assigned, in a timely manner *May also perform other reasonably related business duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor and other management as required *Receives detailed instructions on all work. *Work is closely supervised and reviewed for completeness and accuracy. Additional responsibilities include the following: *Manage and coordinate orders for complex products/services-including Partner Orders, PRI, Fiber, E-Rate, Hospitality, Set Back Box, Complex BCP, Carrier (Wholesale), Cell Tower Maintenance, Hierarchy, Government Accounts, Courtesy accounts, Salesforce Opportunities, and additional tools for order creation. *Responsible for customer contact and making sure that customer is aware of order progress. *Develop through training and on-the-job experience a thorough understanding of the entire ICOMs/CSG billing process including but not limited to: pro-rates, non-pays, rate increases, adjustments, credits, discounts, collections, renewals, and billing equations *Handles all Complex BCP orders (except toll free) and performs order entry in conjunction with OMSe provisioning tasks. *If managing the Escalation project, OMR2 will be responsible for handling escalations and expedites. Assists in handling escalations, problem-solving issues, and difficult customer resolution. *Performs other duties as assigned *Work is regularly supervised and reviewed for timeliness, accuracy and correct procedures. Required Qualifications: *Adheres to all company policies and procedures at all times *Maintains a high level of confidentiality and good judgment in dealing with customer issues and handling complicated requests *High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) *Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills *Ability to take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision *Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel *Ability to analyze and solve problems in a constantly changing work environment *Ability to perform root-cause analysis and gap closure *Ability to work in a high-pressure production environment *Project a cooperative and positive attitude toward customers, employees, and the Company *Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills *Ability to work well in a team environment *Demonstrates flexibility *Maintains a professional image through appearance and actions *Ability to work overtime as needed *Minimum of 1 year of Telecom/Cable industry knowledge *Engages in peer-assisted learning *Performs other duties as assigned *Works independently and effectively under general supervision Communication Skill Level: *Demonstrates ability to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedure manuals *Ability to create routine reports and correspondence. *Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal and written instructions *Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills--including the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully and courteously with all customers and employees
