Basic Function 13;
Under general direction, washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keeps the dish room and equipment clean and organized. Cleans and resets tables after guests have departed maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary dining area for guests. Assists with receiving and stocking supply orders. Follows Company policies and procedures. Maintains the work area in a clean, well organized manner, and assists others as needed.
General Knowledge, Skill and Ability 13;
Requires ability to take written and verbal direction.
Requires ability to communicate in a friendly manner with guests in order to create a warm, comfortable, relaxing environment.
Must have the ability to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
Mental and Physical Requirements 13;
Education: Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school.
Experience: Previous experience in working with the public or food service experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Skills: Requires ability to walk and stand during entire working period of 6:8 hours. Requires ability work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 5 hours. Requires ability to reach, lift, bend, and stoop. Must be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighting up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
Working Relationships 13;
:Reports to AM/PM Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
:Maintains a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments. 13;
