IPKeys Technologies is seeking a Firewall Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Network and Telcom Services (NTS) Support program in San Antonio, TX.The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Network and Telcom Services (NTS) Support Team will provide firewall support to DLA NTS with boundary security and programs, which include Checkpoint Firewalls, Forcepoint Proxy Servers and any other platforms that J64 Network and Telecommunication Services (NTS) is responsible for. The Contractual support is also required for entering and maintaining network asset status using the DISA Vulnerability Management System (VMS), verifying that devices are configured in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Information Operations Condition (INFOCON) response planning and testing, Computer Emergency Response/Readiness Team (CERT) distribution and monitoring, and participation in DLA Information Operations wide Information Assurance Planning workgroups. The candidate will need strong communication and interpersonal skills as close collaboration will be necessary between the NTS Support Team in Harrisburg, PA, Dayton, OH and other LAN teams or on:site POCA?s around the world at other DLA sites. The candidate should have strong attention to detail with documentation and be capable of creating or maintaining detailed and exhaustive documentation for any new implementations and possibly existing solutions where documentation does not currently exist of consistent or high quality.Five (5) years relevant experience to include: Working knowledge of Firewall. Working knowledge and understanding of industry standard network environments to include firewall and security hardware/software. Working knowledge of Information Assurance Best Practices. In depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations. Knowledge of industry standard Incident Ticket Tracking systems for inputting incident tickets and creating work orders. Comprehensive knowledge of DOD and DLA security regulations, guidelines and policies, to include, but not limited to, IA standards. Working knowledge of the installation, configuration and day:to:day sustainment of network equipment, to include but not limited to: firewalls and other network appliances. Qualified candidates must maintain an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.CCSA, CCSE, Security+
