The Manager, SCM Optimization develops and leads business improvement projects across SCM. These project help drive efficient and effective supply chain operations across all of the center:led Supply Chain organization. The Manager will work collaboratively with SCM subject matter experts to identify opportunities for improvement, to develop the improvement project, lead the project teams to deliver measurable results in the way we operate. He/she will drive process consistency across the organization, including new acquisition integration. The Manager will have experience in leading projects, experience with process and data analytics, knowledge of Supply Chain technology and a passion for collaboration with team members, SMEs, and stakeholders.
: Drives process improvements across the supply chain to various stakeholders such as suppliers, and internal customers using the Lean Six Sigma methodology. He/she will earn a Green Belt or higher in this role by participating in Tesoros Lean Six Sigma training. Requires intensive collaboration with cross functional teams to deliver the business improvement strategy, tools, processes, training, and metrics which drive continuous improvement of our current processes.
: Must be engaged in influencing improvements in other functions that contribute inputs and outputs to the Supply Chain processes to ensure process integrity and controls.
: Will have involvement in integration projects if/when the company purchases new assets. This may include project management of various aspects of the SCM integration, which may involve delivering process and system conversion projects within the integration team efforts.
: Responsible to identify and bring best practices to the organization. Implements best practices, drives change through planned communication efforts across a broad audience of the entire enterprise and when necessary through our suppliers organizations. Responsibility includes developing training curriculum for a repository of on line and classroom audiences to support various aspects of SCM tools and processes.
: Designs and develops project plans using PMP methods and tools. Ensures delivery of successful and measurable business improvements.
: Responsible to drive the process consistency and adoption across the organization by incorporating system controls and business controls to avoid process diversity. Keeps library of policies and procedure documentation up to date in our repositories. Communicates broadly inside and outside the company to ensure our stakeholders have clarity and readiness for change. Trains stakeholders to enable changes to be implemented.
: Minimum undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or another quantitative discipline required.
: MBA preferred.
: LSS certification preferred.
: Project Management certification preferred.
: Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management required.
: Minimum 3 years experience with ERP systems including SAP or others required.
: Leadership skills including strategic thinking, takes initiative, ability to drive business change, collaborating and leading multi:disciplinary groups.
: Strong influencing skills.
: Understanding of data structures and analytics.
: Experience with implementing supplier scorecards, reverse auctions, pcard programs and other SCM initiatives.
