Position Summary 13;
Executes learning development programs and processes. Collects and analyzes organizational and departmental data, identifies best practices and conducts research on industry trends to make business decisions.
Tasks and Responsibilities 13;
:Acts as SUPERIOR role model for power plant safety standards and ability to transfer ZERO HARM methodologies from classroom to field tasks
:Creates, schedules, monitors course enrollment, tracks/reports completion and provides support for post course follow:up evaluation process
:Facilitates training, assist curriculum development and mentor employees through technical skills development and continuation training
:Frequently uses of Learning Management System (LMS) for data entry and completion reporting for management analysis
:Utilizes various media file types for specific delivery settings using innovation and cutting edge training methods
:Provides training via classroom, simulation, CBT, self:study, on:the:job training (OJT) guides, and other instructional methodologies
:Assists learning improvement projects that directly reflect positive regulatory and compliance outcomes and deliverables
:Performs other duties as assigned 13;
Minimum Skills 13;
Personal Computer Usage 13;
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities 13;
Positive track record of progression and continuation training progression in Plant Operations 13;
Proficient as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist with design, development and improvements of technical training courses as related to Power Plant Operation 13;
Previous experience in Power Plant Technical or Safety Training requirements and regulations 13;
Ability to train employees to perform startup, loading, shutdown and emergency operations of plant equipment IAW safety standards 13;
Experienced in the development of procedures and training material, and in the actual training of multiple personnel 13;
Facilitate training, assist curriculum development and mentor employees through 5:yr technical skills development and continuation training 13;
Previous working knowledge of adult learning theory and training implementation 13;
Utilizes training evaluation approaches, including metrics and reporting to execute remedial/retraining activities as applicable 13;
Preferred Qualifications 13;
:Proficient as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist team members with design, development and improvements of technical training course
:Working knowledge of Combined Cycle power plant experience with advanced knowledge aeroderivative (peaker power plant) systems operation
:Basic understanding of Learning Management System (LMS) functions for training reporting/analysis functions
:Experience managing the safe operation of multiple power generating units simultaneously (operations supervisory position) 13;
