Four years of experience with instructional design/educational technology, online course design and design software.

Instructional Design in an adult learning, industrial or business environment rather than an academic setting. The audience this position prepares instructional materials for is staff, managers, executives and faculty of an academic institution, not students, unless they are employed students.
Four years of experience with Design software such as Storyline, Articulate, Softchalk.
Description of Job Duties
1.Collaborates with SMEs and typical audience users and other stakeholders to determine design issues and needs; provides advice on the effective use of web-based resources, multimedia technologies and instructional software systems to improve teaching both online and in classroom.
2. Serves as project manager, leading support instructional design staff in the design and production of storyboards, development protocol and online courses.
3. Oversees and performs development of curriculum for courses and/or program components. Designs and supervises the production of learning resources in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, and animation technologies to support online courses.
4. Acts as coordinating liaison with systems analyst, originating requesting departments and other Training and Development staff as needed. Consults with individual or groups on the optimal design of curriculum and instruction.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
6. Keeps abreast of technological advances & makes multimedia software purchase.
