The Oracle Developer is responsible to design, develop, and implement solutions in an Oracle E:business Suite environment to meet business requirements. Responsibilities include: participating in requirements review, translating functional requirements into detailed design definition, implementing RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions) integrated with the Oracle Applications.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: BachelorA?s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or computer related field, plus 5 years technical experience. 5:8 years experience in Oracle EBS Development. Prior work experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, XML Publisher and Oracle e:Business Suite is a MUST.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY: Advance technical experience with Oracle R12 Financial and SCM applications: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Inventory, Install Base, Purchasing, iProcurement. Advance knowledge of Oracle Developer Suite (Oracle Forms and Reports) and XML Publisher. Advance knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting and Linux OS experience. Advance knowledge with Oracle application customizations including Oracle workflow, reports, XML Publisher reports, custom interfaces, and extensions. Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand. Good oral and written communication skills and ability to work in team environment. Demonstrates a systematic structured problem solving approach. Ability to generalize a specific problem and derive solution for a class of problems. Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions. Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups. Works autonomously. Provides guidance to colleagues who are unfamiliar with his extensions. Abiility to provide FANATICAL support. JOB COMPLEXITY: Translation of business requirements into technical design, with custom objects to support. Demonstrates sound rationale in making design trade:offs for various feature areas. Identifies risks and mitigation around various Oracle EBS modules. Good understanding of the dependencies and data flow between various Oracle EBS modules. Drives continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design. Efficiently implements Oracle EBS extensions with minimal technical debt. Designs and delivers Oracle EBS extensions that are easy to support and maintain. Proactively drives refactoring and code:reuse. Strong ability to write and test program code that meets user specifications. Support and maintenance of system interfaces of Oracle applications database architecture/programming standards. LI:AS1
