Performs cash management activities including the reporting and monitoring of bank activity, processing daily check run and other fund payments, and coordinating daily cash position to ensure maximum utilization of funds.
: Gathers daily company cash inflows and outflows for various financial institutions and assists with the preparation of daily cash flow forecast.
: Assists with the coordination and preparation of daily cash positions.
: Monitors bank accounts to ensure all accounts are sufficiently funded. Ensure funds have been received and payments have been made as scheduled.
: May identify wire transfer and ACH returns and distribute daily report to Corporate Accounting.
: Reconciles previous days bank balances, initiates outgoing wire transfers, sweeps accounts and the clearing of the payment documents in SAP.
: Maintains various reports and spreadsheets for accounting purposes for all Tesoro companies.
: Assists with processing various transactions in SAP.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
: Minimum Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
: Minimum 2 years of cash management experience, preferably in the refining industry.
: Working knowledge of finance, treasury/cash management and credit management processes
: Strong technical, analytical and multi:tasking skills
: Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and cash management systems
: Ability to work effectively in a team environment
: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing
