General Manager. Premier HR Solutions is seeking a high:energy professional who is proactive, disciplined and self:motivated to serve as General Manager for our client in the recycling and junk removal industry. The ideal candidate has demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically. A qualified GM will have experience in the different facets critical in operating a small business: Sales, Marketing, Administration, Operations and HR.

Essential Job Duties
Establish quarterly performance goals in support of overall annual plan.
Achieve and surpass stated sales goals as outlined in annual/quarterly plan(s)
Develop and execute annual marketing plan, complete with budget and criteria for measuring success of these efforts
Execute all marketing tasks required to support annual marketing plan, with focus on daily field marketing activities including truck parking, door hangers, yard signs, etc.
Set firm goals for performance of B2B marketing
campaigns/activities, and measure results of these
Develop sustainable programs that maximize
diversion/reclamation revenue and minimize costs associated with this business aspect
Build B2B relationships with realtors, property managers and other service companies within the companys target markets to increase sales and measure the
return/effectiveness of these activities
Ensure high quality execution for all jobs; monitor post job satisfaction of customers and proactively address any issues that arise, insuring that all routes are optimized based upon the days schedule either personally or delegation to operations manager and route supervisors.
Create, deliver and follow up on estimates required to adequately respond to sales leads
Proactively manage open estimates by following up within 24 hours of on and shy;site visit utilizing effective closing strategies
Establish annual operating plan and budget for branch, complete with P and L goals by category for operating year.
Establish quarterly performance goals in support of overall annual plan.
Responsible for overall health, and P and L performance, of branch, including upholding the equity of the companys brand in GMs territory
Insures that all required trucks, equipment, labor and supporting materials to execute 100 of booked jobs on time and within budget
Provides operational guidance to the Operations Manager.
Responsible for all facets of Human Resources
Insure that all office manager responsibilities including the purchase of requisite supplies and maintaining an organized workspace, or effectively delegate this task to the administrative assistant or Ops Manager

Education and Experience
Minimum of 5 years management experience
Experience reading and understanding of standard financial statements (P and L, Balance Sheet, etc)
Experience creating annual plans and budgets, tracking performance of branch and proactively developing strategies when actual results do not meet or surpass plan
Experience managing daily operations of a dynamic enterprise
Proven ability to properly organize people, supporting documents and daily operational detail
BS/BA desired, but not required
