Job Title: Program Control Analyst Umyuaq Technology

General Purpose of the Position:

Assist the accounting department in providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all Company activities that will assist management, its executives and other users in making educated economic decisions about the Company's future. Majority of duties will be in supporting Government contracts with the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size and complexity. Maintaining cost/schedule baselines; this position will maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs) for projects as well as understand and perform related analyses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Utilize the organization’s accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. Demonstrate expertise in a variety of finance and accounting concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks.

Compiles and analyzes statistical data and prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to the General Manager or their designated recipient.

Support financial activities and prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.

Support the following activities, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, petty cash, employee expense reports, and cash control.

Support the Payroll activities, ensuring timely posting of labor and payment of employees, payment of tax liabilities, garnishments and other required liabilities.

Support Accounts Receivable to ensure the accurate and timely management of all Accounts Receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc; which includes weekly aging reports and customer service.

Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.

Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, franchisees, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

Skills and Abilities Required:

Strong working knowledge in the areas of Government financial and statistical analysis, government wrap rates, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budget, and banking.

Working knowledge of DCAA requirements with federal government contracts.

Computer literacy necessary – Familiarity with hardware and software requirements. Working knowledge and hands-on expertise with: (1) Microsoft Office tools to include Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, (2) Outlook and Exchange, and (3) Deltek Costpoint Accounting Software.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 5 years of hands-on accounting experience. Will accept 10 years of hands-on experience in lieu of degree.
