HIiring a Contract Project Coordinator
Duration: 1 Year Assignment
Client Location: San Antonio, TX
Work Schedule: Monday : Friday / 40 Weekly
Pay Rate: 29.00 Hourly

This position will report to the EPMO GSS Portfolio Manager for Shared Services. This position is responsible for supporting the proper execution of
Transitions/Projects as necessary. It includes but is not limited to; assisting in the creation of process improvement changes, continuous improvements and new enterprise implementations. In addition, it includes assisting in the transition work from various geographies serving the various functions in the North American and Latin America Shared Service Centers. This position will assist the assigned PM in the creation of work plans, tracking progress on work schedules, tracking budget progress. This position will also be responsible for maintaining active project plans in MS Project and will be responsible for helping associates to learn and adopt these technologies. This individual will work with internal customers to establish project scope, overseeing training and communications of the Project Management office on the status of projects. This individual will ensure compatibility and consistency with enterprise standards and has the responsibility to assist all areas of in the implementation of significant projects as directed by the EPMO Portfolio Manager.
Create work plans for all projects undertaken by department PMOs using PPM tools developed by EPMO and adhering to EPMO established standards. Responsible for the maintenance of the project plan, project website and project schedule. Create and maintain planning, tracking, reporting, quality management, and communication documentation Project reporting : milestone summary, key issues, risks, benefits, and costs Meeting coordination : scheduling, taking meeting minutes, leading discussion when necessary Maintain work plans, enter status and updates into the MS Project software. Create management reports and presentations as directed by Portfolio Manager to keep senior leadership up to date on schedule, budget, and deliverables status. Collect, organize, and escalate project issues and risks to the assigned Project Manager.
Create and maintain collaboration environments for projects, by using the preferred software such as SharePoint or similar software. Responsible for creating and organizing project work papers for validation and compliance traceability (when required) Facilitate meetings with project managers to collect status and discuss project issues. Help on documenting policies and procedures to be used as best practice for firm:wide PPPM approach and methodologies. Talent Management: Demonstrated capability to facilitate groups of senior audiences, provide candid feedback, ability to train people on complex tools sets, and excellence in working in a highly collaborative environment. willingness/strength to do the right thing in difficult situations.
BS/BA degree from a fully accredited university in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related Analytical field is required.
