Roles and Responsibilities of a Corporate Recruiter:

Current roles:
:Work with clients and all levels of internal management to understand their staffing needs/goals and occasionally educate them on the candidate market place and recruiting strategies
:Participate in weekly or bi:weekly meetings to fully understand the staffing needs, company structure, and hiring process of each client
:Have the ability to recruit for every level in various industries, such as:
:Information Technology
:Engineering and Design
:Scientific and Clinical
:Operations and Logistics
:Financial and Accounting
:Clerical and Administrative
:Utilize online job boards and develop a national network of corporate professionals
:Create strategic advertisements for job postings with internet career boards
:Research market salaries for contracting professionals, find new resources on the internet for recruiting, and organize job fairs at colleges and career counseling centers
:Proactively source candidates through cold calling, employee or client referrals, previous placements, internet recruiting, and ATS
:Effectively present to candidates the value proposition of working with client companies
:Qualify candidates by prescreening them, conducting in:person or phone interviews, performing reference checks, administering proficiency tests, interpreting results, conducting client interview preparation, and negotiating salaries
:Prepare resumes and references for presentation to clients and coach candidates throughout the interview process
:Act as liaison between candidate and hiring manager to set up interview
:Negotiate offers with candidates for a successful close
:f an offer is accepted, confirm that the new hire package is sent and the drug screen is arranged
:Contribute to cross:functional selling of candidates within the organization
:Maintain relationships and network with candidates to develop new business opportunities and expand current candidate database by generating referrals
:Responsible for building and maintaining vendor/client relationships by following up on staffing placements
:Guide the entire recruiting cycle which includes: cold calling, clarifying hiring needs, posting job descriptions, determining timelines, sourcing candidates, presenting candidates to hiring managers, making offers, and the subsequent new hire process
:Maintain candidates and open requisitions in ATS while also tracking job descriptions and postings. Also manage the profiles to add details of the candidates skills, availability and status
:Maintain relationships with contract employees through regular phone calls and emails
:Participate in weekly meetings to discuss and evaluate our recruiting efforts with management
Additional Roles and Responsibiliites

This individual will apply administrative, organizational, business, program management, and interpersonal skills to:

:Establish themselves (with all assigned clients) as the Account Manager and point of contact for all OBS staff matters.
:Serve as the immediate Supervisor and management point of contact for all matters affecting assigned OBS staff.
:Regularly visit all sites for OBS staff meetings, team:building activities, and credibility:building Client interaction.
:Ensure all staff has the training/knowledge to enter time/expenses on schedule using approved tools.
:Proactively ensure, address, improve, and measure client satisfaction as staff performs, moves on/off engagements, etc.
:Manage, monitor, keep records, and report on attendance, billing, utilization, safety, and training for all assigned staff.
:Acquire/maintain knowledge to assess performance and administer regular performance evaluations for all assigned staff.
:Acquire/maintain knowledge of safety programs, equipment, requirements, and training affecting all assigned staff and sites.
:Develop/maintain knowledge of client organizational structure, site safety, and emergency response
