# Job Description
Our lab is focusing on gene transcriptional/epigenetic regulation studies in breast and prostate cancers. Our research integrates next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based technologies and bioinformatics tools to investigate the component, epigenetic, and 3D level changes of enhancers in cancers (refer to Cell, 2014 159: 358 373). We are efficiently combining biochemical, cellular, and animal model-related studies with different NGS-based assays. Our research program will help the trainees/workers from both wet and dry lab sides to build up strong expertise and training record in molecular biology and multi-omics.
# Preferred Qualifications
Strong background in molecular/cell biology and cancer biology or closely related biological sciences. Prior experience in transcriptional/epigenetic fields, patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models, breast/prostate cancer, and computational analyses will be valued.

Responsibilities include assisting or conducting a variety of scientific experiments and research projects of limited complexity, collecting, evaluating and interpreting data for basic research.

Carries out general laboratory maintenance. Helps PI to organize and manage the lab running in all different ways. Orders, receives and stores new equipment and supplies. Keeps laboratory area supplied with basic materials or solutions used.

Helps with student training and following safety rules, and lab rules, issues supplies and equipment to students and postdocs, and checks returned equipment for condition.
