Our client, the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), is responsible for providing responsive, flexible full:spectrum installation engineering services. AFCEC missions include facility investment planning, design and construction, operations support, real property management, energy support, environmental compliance and restoration, and audit assertions, acquisition and program management. The unit conducts its operations at more than 75 locations worldwide.
We are seeking experienced Real Estate Consultants to perform a full scope of complex real estate analytical services including market, financial, due diligence, conceptual project planning, and feasibility research and analysis that provide for the foundation of development projects.
* Prepare and review and advise on pro forma models for all potential development and re:development deals. Revise models as needed throughout projects.
* Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
* Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner.
* Design and build financial models.
* Communicate with client and contract support team regarding ongoing project status, variance reporting, and performance metrics.
* Review and analyze legal documents and third party reports as part of the due diligence process.
* Organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions and make recommendations.
* Participate in client and contract support team functions.
* Interact on a daily basis with contract support team and client, including Senior Air Force leadership at Pentagon to Installation level.
* Ask critical questions from both the Air Force and developer points of view, create alternatives, react to changes in the proposals and propose actions to resolve.
* Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with clients and contract support team.
* Perform local and national real estate market analysis on a wide range of public and private entities using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory.
* Three years of Federal Real Property experience or three (3) years of commercial Real Estate experience
* Bachelors degree
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
* Organized and detail oriented
* Strong work ethic and ability to be flexible and multi:task
* Results oriented
* Customer focused
* Adept at dealing with conflict
* Work experience with real estate within the Military or a have a military background is preferred.
* Real property experience is strongly desired.
* FIAR (Financial Improvement Audit Readiness) experience is a plus.
