We are currently hiring experienced Assistant Restaurant Managers who can deliver upon our guest promise of Everything You Love About Breakfast. With 30 locations currently in operation and NEW RESTAURANT OPENINGS on the horizon for 2017 and beyond, there are plenty of opportunities for future advancement.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Execution of annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for the restaurant, as defined by the current IHOP Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the restaurants current operations plan.
Leading in the achievement of budgeted sales and profits.
Developing and maintaining professional functional relationships with restaurant hourly employees and the franchise organization.
Ensuring that employee recruitment and training, operations, food preparation, food safety and sanitation, and security practices are in compliance with SOP.
Execution of Serving Smiles Training program for all restaurant hourly employees to improve unit operations and guest experience.
Completion of all required reports and paperwork.

Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years experience in the position and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be willing to work evening and late night shift.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and guests.
Ability to effective resolve guest concerns in a professional manner.
Ability to lead and motivate others.
Serv Safe Management Food Safety Certification a plus.
