STARTING RATE: $8.81
Under general direction, washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keeps the dish room and equipment clean and organized. Cleans and resets tables after guests have departed maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary dining area for guests. Assists with receiving and stocking supply orders. Follows Company policies and procedures. Maintains the work area in a clean, well organized manner, and assists others as needed.
General Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Requires ability to take written and verbal direction.
Requires ability to communicate in a friendly manner with guests in order to create a warm, comfortable, relaxing environment.
Must have the ability to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
Mental and Physical Requirements
Education: Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school.
Experience: Previous experience in working with the public or food service experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Skills: Requires ability to walk and stand during entire working period of 6-8 hours. Requires ability work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 5 hours. Requires ability to reach, lift, bend, and stoop.Must be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighting up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.

- Maintains a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments.
