Basic Function 13;
Under General Direction describes menu and daily specials, takes orders, serves food and beverages to the guests. Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner. Follows Company policies and procedures. Maintains the work area in a clean, well organized manner, and assists others as needed.
General Knowledge, Skill and Ability 13;
Requires ability to take written and verbal direction and speak English clearly and read English. Requires ability to relate to the public in a warm, friendly manner in providing a hospitable environment. Requires ability to give attention to detail and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently. Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point:of:sale system.
Requires Alcohol Awareness Certification as required by local or state government agency.
Fulfill certification requirements as required by franchise.
Mental and Physical Requirements 13;
Education: Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to High School diploma.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in food and beverage and/ or hospitality related work experience.
Certification and /or License Requirement: Alcohol awareness certification and/ or food service permit as required by local or state government agency.
Physical Skills: Requires ability to walk and stand during working period or up to 5 or 6 hours. Requires ability to carry trays up to 50 pounds. Requires ability to lifts 25:50 pounds intermittently during the work shift.
Working Relationships 13;
:Reports to AM/PM Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
:Maintains and promotes a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments. 13;
