Regional Sales Representative

We currently have an opportunity in the San Antonio, TX area for a Regional Sales Representative.

Summary

Execute sales strategy, initiate contact with potential customers, identify their needs and sell appropriate products/services to meet those needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Consistently demonstrate a drive and passion for creating sales, relationship building, and satisfying the customer.
Identify prospects for new business, arrange sales calls, generate interest in our products and services, and close the sale.
Coordinate with Snider and national team to create customer quotes and establish delivery of products.
Continually seek personal growth.
Contribute to the improvement of the sales team and promote teamwork throughout our organization
Preferred Education and Experience

College degree preferred.
Demonstrated success at outside sales.
Experience working with manufacturers who supply products/equipment to the Oil and Gas industry
Experience with fastener products a plus.
Experience in industrial sales a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Strong communication skills to effectively relay information to the customer and coordinate with business partners.
Time management skills and personal responsibility to ensure productivity in a self-directed working environment.
Critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Ability to define goals, seek information, and make recommendations with minimal supervision.
Strong negotiating skills to persuade others.
Computer skills to effectively use word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail tools (Microsoft Office platform).
