OBJECTIVE: Achieve superior self-manufacturing products through high quality, low cost foods while continuing the commitment to the growth, development and training of our People and continually meeting our commitment to achieve superior service levels.

Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary

* Requires direct supervision

* In a development mode

* Administer practices and policies

* Assigned to a team

* Focus on day-to-day issues

* Handles tactical day-to-day issues

* Seeks advice on complex issues

* Mentor is Ops. Leader

Supervisory Responsibilities

* Provides coaching, training and development

* Administers certification tests

* Seeks out recommendation from appropriate leader on handling critical situations

* Handles day-to-day tactical issues independently with little or no supervision

* Ensures compliance with internal practices and external policies, procedures, guidelines & governance

* Communicate tactical plans & initiatives to effectively gain partner cooperation

* Provides input on staffing levels & participates in sourcing and interviewing candidates

* Identifies & develops team coordinators

* Processes each work injury

* Administers performance appraisals

Quality Assurance Responsibilities

* Ensures compliance with work instructions, standards and product specifications

Service Responsibilities

* Executes production schedule to ensure on-time delivery in an efficient & effective manner

* Provide detailed shift summaries to other leaders

Financial Responsibilities

* Prepare and communicate plans to achieve team goals to leader(s)

* Implements plans

* Monitor and adjust labor requirements to balance staffing levels and overtime costs

* Regularly reviews and communicates results with team

* Actively participates in the Hoshin objectives

Education and Experience preferred

* Bachelor's Degree Required (Bachelor's Degree OR 1-3 years related experience)

* Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills required

* High Performance Work Team Experience (preferred);

* Basic working knowledge and compliance: industry, EEOC and Employment Laws;

* Strong written, verbal and presentation skills;

* Demonstrated ability to analyze and influence people and process situations;

* Demonstrated proficiency with operating internal and external software systems at an intermediate level;

* Attendance and completion of company sponsored training and development classes;

* Participation in Leadership training and BET

Physical and Other Requirements

* Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays

* Work extended hours

* Work rotating schedules

* Ambient temperatures range from -20F to 100 F; most often they are 65-85F
