AUSTIN, TX – State Sen.-elect Donna Campbell (R-New Braunfels) and State Representative Mike Villarreal (D-San Antonio) will be featured in The Texas Tribune’s The Hot Seat in San Antonio on Friday, December 7 at Trinity University’s Coates University Center Fiesta Room. This in-depth conversation will be moderated by Evan Smith, the CEO and Editor-In-Chief of Texas Tribune.

Campbell won the SD-25 seat previously held by Jeff Wentworth in 2012, and has served as the medical director for several hospitals, including the third largest emergency medicine group in the country. Villarreal, in his seventh term, launched a grassroots campaign in 1999 for the Texas House of Representatives and previously directed the San Antonio office for Public Financial Management, the nation’s leading public finance advisory firm.
